Tim Greensleeves, a director of the centre for more than thirty years since he joined straight from horticultural college, personally oversees the selection of specialised vegetable cultivars available at the centre.  "There are several new disease resistant varieties across many of the vegetable ranges, but we also pride ourselves in having the largest selection of old favourites in the country", explained Tim. "We can offer expert advice on planting and maintenance, so even the novice gardener will be able to grow their own crops successfully in the garden.  And because we believe in growing organically, we are able to offer advice on some of the latest techniques available".
