Oakland Nurseries is a family owned & run business. We began in
1994 initially serving the local community with perennials &
bedding plants but, over the years, we have developed a
specialist line of plants namely Cannas, Gingers, Aroids, tender
perennials & more recently Streptocarpus.
In 1999, a small nursery 'Brockings Exotics' was integrated
within 'Oakland Nurseries', since then we have increased the
product range & now offer what we believe to be the
UK’s most
comprehensive collection of tender plants. Oakland Nurseries
offers a range of over 400 varieties.
The mail order business has grown from a few parcels once
carried down to the local post office to regular collections
from Oakland Nurseries site in Leicestershire.
You can see our displays at the major RHS shows,
Chelsea,
Hampton Court, BBC Gardeners
World Live & many more top events. Visitors are welcome to
the nursery by appointment.
