Ryton Organic Gardens, run by HDRA - the national organic gardening charity, attracts more than 30,000 visitors each year. This beautiful ten-acre site, near Coventry, has grown rapidly since it was established in 1985. The gardens now boast 30 different attractions including themed gardens, educational displays and wildlife areas – all demonstrating the wonders of organic gardening.

Families will love our fascinating visitor centre, the Vegetable Kingdom, which opened last year. They can learn all about vegetables they have never heard of before and take part in interactive games with a colourful cast of vegetable characters. Our new Children’s Garden, opened in June, also offers an exciting place for discovery and play.

Visitors can enjoy delicious refreshments in our restaurant and café, or browse around our shop which sells a wide range of organic foods, gardening goods, books and gifts. To just use these facilities, you do not have to pay the entrance fee. We also offer a refreshingly different venue for conferences and weddings.

Ryton Organic Gardens and the Vegetable Kingdom, which have been run by HDRA since 1985, are located on Wolston Road, five miles south east of Coventry. They are open every day from 9am to 5pm, except during Christmas week.

Admission costs £4.50 for adults, £4 for concessions and £2 for children under 16. Admission is free for HDRA and RHS members. Group discounts are also available for pre-booked parties of 14 or more.

To find out more telephone 024 7630 3517, email enquiry@hdra.org.uk or visit HDRA’s website www.hdra.org.uk.
